It's all about that view
The View is magical!
If there is a better view somewhere else in Corfu, we haven't seen it.
In the morning the sun glistens off the calm stillness of the Ionian sea making the water shimmer beautifully. By afternoon, when the sun is at its full height, you can see for miles including Gouvia Marina to your right, and Corfu town harbour straight ahead.
Because the bay is so sheltered and the water so calm, you will be treated to -yachts of all sizes mooring in the bay as well as paragliders and water sport enthusiasts enjoying themselves.
As evening comes the light shifts to a rose gold colour that gives an almost mystical tint to the lush landscape - all right in front of you. Even at night, you can still sense the vastness of the expanse as the lights of Corfu flicker and the stars above shine brightly.
You can see this astonishing view from almost every room of the house, but it is on the main floor balcony leading off the Living Room that you'll enjoy it best, especially with some outdoor dining.
